B&Z recently completed a medical project involving
Alza, a subsidiary of
Johnson and Johnson.
They came to us seeking a machine shop who could make a device that had a revolutionary new way
of dispensing medicine. The problem was the fifteen-piece assembly could only have an
accumulated tolerance of .00015 (hundred thousandths) of an inch. We completed the entire project
in six weeks and they have been loyal customers of B&Z ever since.
We personally believe they appreciate our quality, ideas for improved production, and
reduced costs - almost as much as we appreciate their business and loyalty.
Another example involved renowned reconstructive dentist
Thomas Basta. He needed someone to
help him design and manufacture a simpler and easier way of mapping jaw movements. He came
to B&Z. With our help we were able to design for ease of manufacture and we were able
to significantly reduce his costs per unit while also maintaining the function of his
original design.
