One customer is starting a program where we, as the supplier, place inventory at their location but retain ownership of the inventory until it is sold, at which time payment is made. Special programs like these help distinguish B&Z by eliminating lead times and part shortages.

For inventory management, B&Z is currently running a Supplier Managed Inventory program and a Supplier Owned Inventory program with some of our largest customers. Our customers can supply us with their forecasts and B&Z assumes the responsibility for maintaining their inventory levels.

One of B&Z Manufacturing's strengths is our ability to handle both prototype and production. To handle larger production quantities, B&Z Manufacturing utilizes several high-speed pallet changers. Pallet changers are an important aspect of our production capabilities, as they optimize the time parts spend in the machine and reduce the overhead involved in large production runs. These machines are capable of producing machined parts rapidly while maintaining the close tolerances and low costs required in today's manufacturing environment.
